Journey

Adedotun Emmanuel Agbede, better known by his stage name Dotti Monc, emerged as a soulful voice in Nigerian Afrobeats through his introspective lyrics and dynamic beats. Born on August 15, 1998, in Nigeria, his musical aspirations took flight in 2012 alongside a DJ roommate. What began as humble recordings matured as Dotti Monc honed his craft, eventually crossing paths with celebrated producer Krizbeatz in 2015. Facing early challenges, such as a failed music video project in 2016, did not deter him; instead, he turned each setback into a lesson, tirelessly performing at various music events to refine his artistry. By 2019, his perseverance paid off with the acclaimed release of the "International Boy EP," marking his formal introduction to the music industry. In 2022, after signing with Golddiggerz Records, he elevated his reach with singles like "My Kele," "Maria," and "Wonbolobo." Each track resonates with the eclectic rhythms of Afrobeats, infused with Afropop and R&B elements, demonstrating his versatility and ambition to connect globally through music.
